Definitely took the smell away. And I'm noticing that it is slowly taking away the black spots that were left along the rubber.

These pods worked well. It loosened the grind and dirt up but I still had to wipe and scrub to get it off but the washer had never been cleaned before. Ran it 2 times. I will continue to use them every so often.

I used Affresh tablets in the past, however I found them expensive. I did some research and decided to buy these tablets to give it a try.

I used these tablets regularly - 1 tablet every 2 weeks. I have 4 dogs and make sure my washing machine is clean, deodorized and fresh at all times. I use 1 tablet and set my machine on cleaning cycle. I am very happy and I will continue purchasing this product.

It worked!! My machine is clean now. But you have to spend time really cleaning the drum. Its purpose it to losen it up so cleaning is easier. it doesn't smell anymore. But it needs to be done on a regular basis to keep it clean.

My front load washer has had a smell for a few years. It's 11 years old. We always keep the door open but I could never get rid of the smell. One wash with this tablet and the smell is gone. Completely gone. This stuff is miraculous.

We get our water from a well. It contains a lot of minerals, especially calcium. Cleaner worked well to remove discolouring and the mineral buildup that occurs over time. Easy and efficient to clean the machine without many hassles. I have a front facing washer machine (Samsung) and only need to place the tablet in the barrel and set the self-clean button. The cleaning cycle would take around 4 hours but the mildew smell goes away and the machine cleans the clothes more effectively! Highly recommend to use self-clean the machine during the non-busy electrical times according your local electricity time-of-use price periods!

Work very well. We have a Samsung HE machine. The instructions say to run with no agents, (maybe just az little bleach). I confirmed from different sources that ACTIVE cleaner can be used.

Our machine hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. So I ran ACTIVE on self clean and it was good. Since it was so long I ran another self clean with ACTIVE a week later. The machine is now very clean and all odors are 100% gone. This has made a great difference in how clean and fresh our laundry is.

We will now run a self clean With 1 ACTIVE tablet every 3 weeks. The ACTIVE instructions suggest 2 weeks. In our case I believe 3 weeks will be sufficient.

I highly recommend only 1 tablet per clean. Your better off to run a couple of self clean cycles fairly close together at first then multiple tablets in one cycle if your machine is very dirty or smells.

I find ACTIVE tablets work better than big box store tablets like affresh that are 3 tabs for ten bucks.
